will mixing different facial moisturizers be good or bad or not have any effect at all? i was thinking something about the components of the individual moisturizers are made specifically for their own purposes and mixing them will cause irritation, dryness or anything else.
i have the same exact question for facial cleansers also.
im going to start mixing a light moisturizer with a moisturizer that contains spf because i dont like the thickness of the moisturizer that contains spf, although i know that when they contain spf, the moisturizer will usually be thick. also, wont this make it less effective?Mixing facial moisturizers or cleansers together?
It is ok to mix moisturizers with an SPF we do it all the time as skin therapist. SPF is very important. The cleansers are fine to mix as well the only thing that you usually don't want to mix are treatment products. Sometime those can have a reaction or cause a break out but cleansers and moisturizers are fine.Mixing facial moisturizers or cleansers together?
for gods sake don't mix things. if you were to have a reaction, it would be hard to find out what would be causing the problem. i had acne for something like 12 to 15 yrs. and found out that the thing that really works is so easy and inexpensive. clean and clear. if you need a moisturizer, clean and clear has it
