I woke up with facial numbness this morning. Is this a sign of a bigger health problem?

The numbness is only on the skin and not internal. The numbness is on the right side of my mouth and lower nose.I woke up with facial numbness this morning. Is this a sign of a bigger health problem?
Seek medical attention. This could be something serious and it's better to err on the safe side.I woke up with facial numbness this morning. Is this a sign of a bigger health problem?
While a stroke is a possibility, another is that you might have just slept on it funny. If you maybe had your hand under your face, or had your face resting on the seam of the pillow it might have done that to you.

If it doesn't clear up in few hours seek medical attention.
Maybe, maybe not.

Had a friend have something like this once and it was a condition called Bell's Palsy.

Bells palsy is a condition that causes the facial muscles to weaken or become paralyzed. It's caused by trauma to the 7th cranial nerve, and is not permanent. Some also believe it can be caused by a virus.
