Why does facial hair not grow under my chin?

Haha, i know this a random/stupid question, but i thought i would post it anyway. I have facial hair in the normal spots where it should be, however, right under my chin but above my neck, there is no facial hair, its just skin. Could this be because i tend to lay on it, and put pressure, or maybe the oils from my hands? or is it just genetics?

No silly you can't stop hair growth by pressure or sleeping on it! Everyone would be bald in that case hehe :)





Where and how your facial hair grows mostly depends on genetics, however i do believe men with hair under their chin look ridiculous and shaggy in a bad way so don't worry!!!

when you get older it spreads


then when your over 35 it will slowly grow out of your ears and nose
