What is recommended for someone with fair to medium skin and dark but fine facial hair? I am sick of waxing as it causes me pimples and ingrowns and i wanted to have a look at these options. I know the hair is a result of my hormones. I have heard that while laser has least side effects and more modern it shoudnt be used on fine hair? I basically want the option which is not going to harm my skin or leave scars. Laser or electrolysis for facial hair help please ?
My friend started getting laser done for facial hair back in 2001. She also has hormonal problems like you. At first, her sittings were once every month, this went on for 2-3 years, then it was once in 3 months, once in 6 months and now she goes just once a year. The sittings are endless, and there are side effects. You cannot venture out in the sun without using sunblock with spf +30, even if you sit indoors you got to make sure your wearing sunscreen. I think instead of enduring the many painful sessions of laser, its better you go for threading, if its available where you live. Have your face threaded by a proffessional once in 3 weeks. You should wax only your upper lip not your forehead or your cheeks, it will coz boils, in growth and pimples.
Electrolysis also gives temporary results and it is extremely painful.
To lighten hair growth on your face, you can make a paste mix gram flour (chick pea flour) with a dash of milk, pinch of turmeric and enough rose water, apply and wash your face when it dries. You can do this once a week or once in 10 days before you bathe.
Stawberry, peach and lemon mixed with honey act as a natural bleach. Stick to common natural remedies and methods, it is more safe. Don't stress, take care.Laser or electrolysis for facial hair help please ?
I have this problem and i do thermolysis. In other words, multiprobes. Not just one needle but 32 at the same time. Its taken me a year to get rid of my unwanted hair which was quite bad. I started going twice a week for a total of 3 hours and now go once a month. I would recommend this option. It is costly and can be a little painful in places but i am now confident in public. My skin is not discoloured or blistered unlike the other option. If you live in Sydney i have a great contact!!! People travel from all over Australia to my person. She is a rare find as not many people use this variation of electrolysis. It is the exact same but with more needles. All the best! I've been there.
