avonWhat is the best brand of facial product for oily skin?
Well, I wouldn't say there was a best brand for oily skin. There are a lot of brands that have lines for every type of skin. You have to ask yourself this. Are you going to use department store or drug store. Then you can explore. You can looks on macys.com or saks.com for skincare and hand pick a system yourself, or just look on drugstore.com for drugstore brands that can be found at any supermarket. Overall, neutrogena is the best oily skin brand as far as drugstore goes, and Clinique seems to cater towards oily skin in the department stores. It depends on how oily your skin is as to what type of skincare you will need. Just investigate, or next time your at the department store just go up to one of the sales women, there very nice and I'm sure would be more than happy to help you choose a skincare regimen for you. You will need the essentials... cleanse, tone, moisturize. You can also exfoliate to remove dead skin once or twice a week. Be careful not to over dry your skin with treatments as this will cause your skin to produce MORE oil and cause an even bigger problem. YES oily skin needs moisture too, there are many lightweight options for those oily skins. Hope I helped. -JustinWhat is the best brand of facial product for oily skin?
I really like Dermalogica's skin care line. They offer 'travel' kits for different skin types and it's a great way to test out their skin care line without having to buy a bunch of different products. It's just great basic skin care. They also have a 'Cream Exfoliant' that I use as a mask and it works great to help clear up skin and seems to keep oiliness at bay for a couple of days after using it too.
For more info on good skin care and info on the 'Cream Exfoliant', you can check out a page I just put up on my site at http://www.lifeorganizeit.com/good-skin-care.html
Hope this helps. Take care.

What do you like/dislike about facial tissues?
I'm doing a research about facial tissues in general and I really need your feedback, mention anything that comes to your mind,no matter how small or silly you might think it is.Thank you.
p.s:Choosing a category wasn't easy,I hope this one is close enough. What do you like/dislike about facial tissues?
Blow through...I hate when the snot blows through the tissue and onto your fingers.
Also, why do people put the tissue out of the box, unfold it, and then fold it the other way to blow their nose? What do you like/dislike about facial tissues?
I don't like facial tissue that is rough. The best kind is the kind with aloe or with lotion and vitamin E.
Originally, people carried around handkerchiefs. This was not just to blow your nose into, but the fabric acted as a filter when you coughed into it. People used to cover their mouths with handkerchiefs during the 1918 Spanish Flu when they had posters up saying ';Spitting Kills';. People would have consideration for other people and spit into them instead of the street.
So, while we may think of the handkerchief as old fashion and not very hygenic, they actually are better than Kleenex in that linen handkerchiefs act like a face mask during epidemics.

Is there an over-the-counter product that actually works for helping spur (facial) hair growth?
I am trying to grow some more facial hair is there a product that REALLY works that can help me. Although, If it requires a prescription or is ultra expensive or difficult to get, I would prefer not to hassle with it...Is there an over-the-counter product that actually works for helping spur (facial) hair growth?
try going to GNC..there are pills you can take that enhance hair growth..ask the employee working there. Is there an over-the-counter product that actually works for helping spur (facial) hair growth?
No there isn't, but there are a lot of scams and supplements.
There are some that help prevent hair loss, but none that make new hair grow.
You may be able to use stem cell therapy to replicate hair folicles, but I'm guessing that would fall in to your ';ultra expensive and difficult'; categories. ;)

Anyone know a good at home facial?
I have combination skin at its worse. The T-Zone gets so oily and breaks out all the time, the rest of it so so dry. I would like to get a facial, but dont want to spend the money. Anyone know something I can buy or make that will solve my problems?Anyone know a good at home facial?
Making Your Own Facial Masks
Here are a few all-natural facial masks you can make with ingredients found in your kitchen:
Oatmeal: People with really oily skin often get blackheads. Oatmeal is one way to treat oily skin. It is very dry, so it absorbs oil from the skin. Plus, it's inexpensive and natural.
To use oatmeal to help clear your skin, make a thick paste of oatmeal and water. Apply this mix to your face in the morning and evening. Allow the paste to stay on your face for ten to twenty minutes before rinsing with cool water.
Honey and Apple: Another effective all-natural facial mask for those with oily skin is made from honey and apples. After grating the apple into a fine pulp, mix in four tablespoons of honey and apply to your face for ten minutes. Rinse off the mask after ten minutes is up.
Egg Whites, Witch Hazel and Lemon Juice: Another acne home remedy is a mask made of egg whites, witch hazel and lemon juice. To make this mask, beat an egg white until stiff and add a few drops of witch hazel and a few drops of lemon juice. Spread the mixture over the face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse well with lukewarm water.
Tomatoes: Tomatoes work wonders for oily skin. After mashing a ripe tomato, drain the juice on paper towels for a few minutes. Next, take the tomato pieces and pat them onto your face as you are lying back. Leave the pieces on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Do this treatment once daily, preferably in the morning.
A Few More Tips
Try to keep from picking at pimples. Dirt under your fingernails gets into the pimple and infects it further.
Also, if your current medication isn't working well, try some of these remedies to see if they'll help. If you're trying old-fashioned therapies and they don't work, ask your physician about prescription medications for relief.

i would reccomend oatmeal.... or eggs. if u take egg whites and put it all over your face, it creates a great oil-absorbing mask[[of course rinse it off afterwards]]. and also if ur skin get excessively oily, a neat trick is to put baby powder on your face before you go to sleep and in the morning it will have dried up all the excess oils and shrink acne an pimples. works like a charm. :)
oily skin is so dangerous but it also stop wrinkles.u can mix same portion of glycerin and rose water and little bit of lemon and then message with it for some time.may be it will work.

I like the J/A/S/O/N meditation masque- supposed to relax you but it really deep cleans too... and it's sooo much cheaper ($9.50 a tube can last half a year easily) than the spa facials I get sometimes...but with good results. I like the way it doesn't dry but cleans well- and it shrinks pores on the nose really well. I smear it on when I get home from work and put my stuff away. In about 10 minutes it's dry and i pop into the shower and wash it off...do it everyday for a week and I swear your skin looks great...forehead junk gets a lot better with sleep...
Oatmeal is good for cleansing but can be drying. And I wouldn't reccomend making stuff because it can harbour lots of bacteria than can worsen inflammation if you've got sensitive skin.eyeshadow stick

If your skin is aging premature at 30 due to excessive stress, what facial product can & should you buy ?
products that wont break the money bank because i dont have much money %26amp; products that are easily accessable from the high street.
can anyone advise ?
and please no message me and ill send you free samples or any of that rubbish.
and no mail order stuff or things that have to be bought online because im not in position to get products this way.
thanksIf your skin is aging premature at 30 due to excessive stress, what facial product can %26amp; should you buy ?
Look for a cleanser that has glycolic acid in it, also called AHA - Neutrogena do one and you can buy that in Boots and Superdrug and other high street chemists. This helps your skin to regenerate and produce more collagen. Vitamin C serums are good for environmental damage (try the Body Shop) and wear a sunscreen to prevent further damage.
PS Did you get your name from Watership Down?If your skin is aging premature at 30 due to excessive stress, what facial product can %26amp; should you buy ?
Hello Monsieur Kehaar
Creams aren't really the whole answer as I'm sure you know but they can help.
You don't need to buy an expensive one. Aldi's own face cream recently came out as the best one against creams that cost 10 times as much. In fact when this knowledge became public people starting panic buying! It's about 拢3 and it's not bad. (A bit greasy for my liking)
Spend time when applying it, this it what does your skin the most good. Start with the forhead and stroke it on from the middle outwards and gradually work your way down your face. Take care to make upward, not downward strokes. Finish with gentle circular motions on your cheeks as this will relax your muscles and give you that extra glow.

it really does result in a more youthful projection
Most beauty products don't do anything. Drink plenty of water, stay out of the sun and try and de-stress. :)

My son will be 16 in two months. Is it normal for him to be 6 feet tall and have facial before this age?
How tall will he become when he is done growing? My son will be 16 in two months. Is it normal for him to be 6 feet tall and have facial before this age?
When my son turned 16 he was 6' 2'' and needed a shave more than I did. Hormones and heredity. My son will be 16 in two months. Is it normal for him to be 6 feet tall and have facial before this age?
Yeah, quite normal and if he has good facial hair growth, he is likely nearing the end of puberty, as far as height growth.
Remember back to when you were his age, fathers and sons tend to develop close to the same time.
He sounds normal to me. He could continue to grow until he is 21, or he might be finished, it's hard to say. At 16 my son was about as tall as he is now (6'3';) and he was shaving every other day or so. Males have a tendency to grow in spurts so he could get another growth spurt. I don't think he will be to be seven foot or anything, but he might grow another few inches.
every child matures at different ages, ye its normal for him to have facial hair and as for his height, he prob wont grow to much taller now :)
Well I'm 15 (just turned) myself, and I'm about 5'11 and I've got a beard already.
So I'd say it's quite normal
i'm 16 and im 6'2'; and ive pretty much reached my peak but thats not to say he is done growing...and i have facial hair too so its normal
My little brother is 16, has facial hair, and is like...6'3 right now.
And for the record, I'm 20, 5'11, but I did have facial hair at about 16 or so
just sounds like he grew a bit early... im 22, I havent really grown that much since like 18...I laso know a kid 15 who can also grow a beard and is taller than your son...he just matured early, noo big deal.
yea man its normal im 14 and 6' 2'; and im already shaving my moustache every other week and face once a month
Nothing in your question suggests that there is anything not normal about your son or his development. Is there something else that is making you worried?
It is likely that his final height will be somewhere around the average of each parent's height plus an inch or so.
